THIS IS HOW WE ROLL IN TEXAS
Part of the Tennessee crew came down to the Great State of Texas so we had a Bar-B-Q for them. On the menu was chicken, kiolbasa sausage, short ribs (my favorite) and country style ribs. Sorry about the blurry picture but I took it with my blackberry.
Johnson picked up some hickory chips, and everything was smoked somewhere around 275 - 300 degrees, and it was great.
Then Angie baked an apple pie and peach cobbler, and it was topped with ice cream. If we can keep these kids eating like that everyday they'll put on some weight.
I can only imagine how great the gumbo will be when they get to Louisiana, otherwise known as The Sportsmans State.
