It's that time again

Once again we are on the way to Sylvia Tennessee. We will be leaving very early and hopefully we will return with some deer meat. In last years post Mark J., took two does as he was prowling the barbecue pit using his new cover scent, or should I say smoke screen. We had taken the smoker to Tennessee and broke it in the week we were there. This year we will be taking a meat grinder up, only because we couldn't find a cappuccino machine.

We are itching to flip that switch and see that baby work. Oh and I forgot about the meat slicer Johnson bought. One year Mark and I were there we came back with 5 deer. That year we had a lot of meat but it took all day processing that amount of meat. Hopefully this year we can get a few deer and the processing should go real quick. I'll keep you posted.

From the East Coast gang, we wish you a sincere good luck! We also spent many hours processing 6 deer during black powder season (see pics from early nov). We had a great time and forgot to write on the skinning rack. We also added a new rule for the Johnson Hunting ranch......all misses shall be memorialized by a large chunk of shirt tail hanging from the rafters in the shop! We'd appreciate a few hanging there from the West Coast gang. You can't beat the accomodations at the Johnson Bed & Breakfast. PS: Jacinto needs to be thrown in the pond if you can catch him, he said you guys throw like a girl! Take care & good hunting, Steve
